ServSafe Allergens

Studies indicate that half the fatal episodes from food allergens occur outside the home. Are you prepared?

The National Restaurant Association (NRA) announced the launch of ServSafe Allergens, a new online training course for creators of the food safety program, designed to help restaurateurs deal with food allergens. The training tool has been developed in collaboration with Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), a national nonprofit food allergy research organization.

“The NRA has been working over the years to responsibly address the issue of food safety in restaurants, including the issue of food allergens. We are excited to partner with FARE for the Allergens ServSafe course, to educate our restaurants and their employees, which helps our members address the issue of diners’ food allergies, as well as other dietary requirements, “said William Weichelt, director of ServSafe for the NRA.

Our online course and exam allows students to complete training when and where it is most convenient for them.
